vmsyslog logger alarms

Hi Team,

Recently we had upgraded our environment to Esxi - 6.5u3 version, in couple of months we are planning to 6.7u3.  After upgrading the hosts to 6.5u3, in one Data Center, we are keep on receiving alarms saying.

"Issue detected on host120.mm.corp in DBDC: vmsyslog logger XXXLOG33:514 lost 382444 log messages
 (2021-06-08T21:00:25.791Z cpu17:66042)"

please suggest me for any work around on this.

Regards,

Hello VPXA,

1) Is this alarm occurring for only one host or is it for multiple Hosts ?

2) Can you share the snippet from the /var/log/.vmsyslogd.err on the ESXI host.

its occurring for multiple hosts in a single DC (where the VC has multiple DC's) -- can we freeze these alarms  or increasing the threshold of alarm to reduce the count.
