Hi, I'm studying for Foundation exam and I'm trying to configure my VM hard disk and the requirements are as following:

1- System Disk (4GB) with no pre allocation space (this is thing provisioning right?)

2- data Disk (20GB) with zeroed in advanced

what does zeroed in advanced mean? also , is there a different in hard disk type between system disk and data disk?

    thanks

Yes - this is called Thin-provisioned.

    Here you want Eager-zeroed Thick-provisioned.
With Eager-zeroed Thick-provisioned the space is allocated completely in advance and is filled with zeroes before first usage.
