failed - the attempted operation cannot be performed in the current state (powered off).

Hello everybody

I have an OVA file, and I am attempting to run in in vSphere 7.0.2 (I don`t have vCenter), when I power it on the following error is shown: failed - the attempted operation cannot be performed in the current state (powered off).

I checked the image OVA file by running it in virtual box and it`s working, so the image itself has not any problems, I tried to reboot the esxi host and run it again, also the same error.

Please I need an urgent help to resolve this problem.

Hello,

Can you share the hostd.log from the ESXI host when you attempt to power on the VM ?

Location : /var/log/

The issue has been solved, I had restarted the services and the vm worked.
