hi all,
my sql developer ask me to give him a total of 8G memory on a 2008 server for the sql server. but i'm getting out of resources, can i decrease the memory of that vm, below is the summary

2-8 % guest mem %
on the actual server
Physical Memory
Total 8191
Cached 2896
Available 2881
Free 32
and the task memory meter say 5.18GB
can i decrease the memory of this vm?
