VMware vSphere 7 EssentialKit license key valid for VMware VMvisor Installer 6.5U03-18071574-DellEMC

We have  VMware vSphere 7 Essential Kit  3 Host ( Max. 2 Processor per host) license key. 

We installed VMware-VMvisor-Installer-6.5.0.update03-18071574.x86_64-DellEMC_Customized-A08 and assigned license key of VMware vSphere 7 essential kit,

but an error occurred  “Please provide valid license key”.

Please advise, because have a Dell server, its hardware is not compatible with VMware VMvisor 7.0

you should check from the VMware customer portal (by logging in with the credentials of the account to which your essential 7 licenses is assigned) the presence of the essential 7 licenses and downgrade the license to the desired version.
There is no problem if the ESXi ISO is from DELL
