VMware Homelab for study VCP-DCV

Hello Community,

i start studying for my VMware VCP-DCV 2020.

I want to build a homelab to run the following vmware Software.

Virtualization Layer0:

VMware ESXi 7

Virtualization Layer1:

2 x Vmware ESXi 7

1 x vCenter Appliance 7

1x FreeNAS

Virtualization Layer2:

1x Windows2019 AD-DC + DNS Server

2 x Windows VM

Would 32 GB RAM be enough or should it be 64GB better.

64 GB would be the least ammount I would considered.

also, please take into consideration VMware HOL's, you can start any HOL and play with it.

Although you may get around with 32GB RAM, I'd strongly recommend to have more than that, if you want to run multiple Hypervisors, vCSA, and other VMs simultaneously.

2nd this, 64 was the least memory I got a decent lab out of for horizon . 32 gb is rough because vcenter  needs 10gb unless you dial it back, and the minimum I've got working is 5gb but its stresses the vcenter server.
