VMKernel.boot.hyperthreading on console screen

Hello, I was doing regular firmware updates on a Dell M630 and the console screen now is now black with the text VMkernel.boot.hyperthreading. ESXi 6.7 loads completely as the host is reachable and the VMs are up, but at the last second the yellow/black screen flips to the above text. Any ideas what is going on?

check if there is a welcome message /etc/vmware/welcome on esxi host

I dont know why it changed itself, but it definitely was a welcome message. I was able to change it in Advanced Settings.
