Hy!
I have an ESXi 6.7 server (HPE ProLiant DL380 Gen10) which has include an addtitional FC card. When I added this FC card to the server, I had to install the driver, the card type is: QLE2692 Dual Port 16Gb Fibre Channel to PCIe Adapter
This is the original driver: https://support.hpe.com/connect/s/softwaredetails?language=en_US&softwareId=MTX_c3408610565c4a8f8773...
This FC card is passthrough to a VM.
I will upgrade the ESXi 6.7 to 7.0u3. After the ESXi upgrade, do I have to update the FC card driver? If yes, how can I do it? Do I have to install the same method when I installed cleanly the driver on the 6.7?
When I isntalled the driver, I used this article: https://www.teradici.com/web-help/TER1109003/2.5.4/Content/Topics/02_Installing/03_InstallESXi.htm
Thanks.
I looks like the mentioned driver is included in the current HPE customized ESXi image.

You have to install the driver again if your upgrade to ESXi 7 overrides your driver. The driver link you shared is also compatible with vsphere 7, so use the same method of installing the driver.
I did the same (driver installation) for nvme, so i think there will be no issue if it is nvme or fc.

Thanks, it seems the custom ISO include the FC card driver. I will check it after upgrade.
The customized ISO contain the FC card driver so the card works correctly after the ESXi upgrade. Thanks fro Your help!
