Hi guys.
Trying to install: "VMware-VMvisor-Installer-6.0.0.update01-3029758.x86_64.iso" on SuperMicro Server.
Server type: Supermicro | Products | Motherboards | Xeon® Boards | X10SLM+-F
It has:

Server has two 2TB sata disks. RAID 1 is enabled, but durring the ESXI installation the wizard shows two 2TB disks instead of one disk 2TB (in RAID1).
How to solve this, please help
The RAID provided with your controller is a software (aka "fake") RAID. However, ESXi only supports real hardware RAID controllers, i.e. controllers which present the logical volumes without requiring additional OS drivers to form the RAID set.

Thank you for the reply.
Are there any workarounds?
Unfortunately not. Incase you need RAID, you'll have to find a RAID controller which is supported by both, the mainboard vendor and VMware/ESXi.
What may be worth thinking of is to use the second HDD in another system to store the VM backups.
