NIC Teaming Question..

Hi,

I'm using 5 uplinks (vmnic0 through vmnic4) on my ESXi host, and 1 extra uplink (vmnic5) to serve as a redundant uplink for all the 5 uplinks via NIC Teaming.

Is configuring the following possible in ESXi:

- vmnic0 for Management, vmnic5 as redundant uplink in NIC Teaming for Management.

- vmnic1 for vSAN, vmnic5 as redundant uplink in NIC Teaming for vSAN

- vmnic2 for vMotion, vmnic5 as redundant uplink in NIC Teaming, and so on and so forth

Thank You

Yes, by setting creating multiple port groups on a single vSwitch and configuring active/standby adapters per port group.
