Memory allocation to a Windows Guest

Why is it that windows task manager only shows max, 3GB of physical memory regardless of how much I allocate in ESXi 5.0?  My Linux Guests show the amount specified in the configuration.

What version of Windows are you running - as the other poster pointed out the reason is more than likely you are running a 32 BIt OS -

It's true, WIn7 32 bit.  Is this a windows limitation or what vSphere limits?
