Install Infiniband driver

Hi All,

I did download from mellanox the infiniband driver, I couldn´t install the infiniband driver on the VMware ESXi 4.1 (Hypervisor).

Look the message below.

# vihostupdate --server 192.168.1.15 --bundle vmware-esx-drivers-mlx4_en.1.4.1.222.x86_64.zip --install --nosigcheck

Enter username: root

Enter password:

Please wait patch installation is in progress ...

No matching bulletin or VIB was found in the metadata.No bulletins for this platform could be found. Nothing to do.

What do I do wrong?

Hello Bibo,

IB VIBs for ESX40 cannot be installed on ESX41 at this stage.

Mellanox will publish IB drivers for ESX41 soon.. please check mellanox.com for updates.
