Host infrastructure installation design (best practice)

Hello Everyone,

I am looking for some best practise documentations about hardware infrastructure installation on VMware vSphere.

I would like to know how VMware recommends hardware connection e.g. number of connection between hosts and storage or LAN. or something like that.

I need to know if VMware recommends something.
I can't find any interesting documents
