vSphere Hypervisor

Hi,

I'm running vCenter Server 5 Essentials and vSphere 5 Essentials.

Is there any way to view the hardware associated with the physical host machine?  From vSphere Client?  From the terminal connected to the physical host?

With connecting the vSphere directly to the host, you can see some host details in Summary as well as in the Configuration tab. When connected to vCenter Server, there's an additional Hardware Status tab which shows even more details. There are several commands available on the CLI too (e.g. esxcfg-info, ...)

There are also many PowerClI command that can be utilized as well
