I have check creating partition succesfully with PartedUtil  ...

[root@SAR-ESX-01:~] partedUtil getptbl /vmfs/devices/disks/eui.15e55d133a888ffa6c9ce90053eaaa63
msdos
401024 255 63 6442450944

It´s ok but nonetheless it still fails and cannot create the VMFS DS,

What am I missing here?

Is this a new, or existing setup with the Nimble?

What confuses me is "msdos" from the prtedUtil command.
Without knowing details, it might be an otion to "reset" the partition table to GPT using
partedUtil mklabel /vmfs/devices/disks/DeviceName gpt
Please note that this command will delete any pre-existing partitions on that LUN!

Thanks for answering, it is a newly created Nimble Volume, I´ve tried that but it times out same as before

[root@SAR-ESX-01:~] partedUtil mklabel /vmfs/devices/disks/eui.15e55d133a888ffa6c9ce90053eaaa63 gpt

Error: Connection timed out during write on /dev/disks/eui.15e55d133a888ffa6c9ce90053eaaa63
WriteNewPtable: Unable to commit to device /vmfs/devices/disks/eui.15e55d133a888ffa6c9ce90053eaaa63

The connection through iSCSI seems ok, I see al path green, as you can see Im able to see the Lun, but it times out during the partition operation I think
