Esxi 5.0.0 U1 and B110i Smart Array SATA Controller

Hi,

i have an HP DL180 G6 Server  - 12GB with 4  x 1TB HDD configurated in RAID 0/1.

When i try to install Esxi, i can install it only in one of 4 HDD.

It's no recognize the RAID for installation.

How i can solve this trouble?

Please help me and sorry for my bad english!!!

The B110i Smart Array Controller is not supported, because it is not a true harwdare RAID controller, but needs software/driver support to implement the RAID functionality. Since this driver support is not available in ESXi you only see the physical disks attached to the controller, but no logical RAID volumes.

If you want to use RAID then you need to get a supported RAID controller (see the HCL).
