I am trying to install ESXi onto a Dell Precision Workstation T7810, which I have been able to in the past. I am getting the below error code when loading tools.t00 during the installation process.
Error loading /tools.t00
Compressed MD5: 0000......
Decompressed MD5: 0000......
Fatal error: 10 (Out of resources)
How much physical RAM is there in the system?
64GB
Just an FYI I did checksum the iso to the hash given and did a verification from iso to cd. Both matched.
You might want to do a memtest86. When its decompressing those binaries into RAM, if it encounters CRC errors because of hardware faults, it'll sometimes produce messages like that.
Can you again download ISO and check reinstalling again.?
Check below article for same error.
I have already downloaded 3 times from 3 different machines with different DIA's. I get the same issue every time. I have also done a memtest86 with 5 passes all passed.
Just for the hell of it, I tried from home, same end result.
Well, it's a workstation (unsupported hardware) so...
Thanks ... looks like I have to spend 3 to 4K just to run VOA for a week or two .... ugh.
