ESXI 6.7 on Lenovo TS150 with Avago mega raid SAS 9340-8i no volume

Hello,

I have a Lenovo server TS150 with a Avago MegaRAID 9340-8i raid controller.

I have setup a raid 10 volume of 4 SSD drives.

I installed ESXI 6.7 but when I try to create a new datastore the raid volume isn't listed.

I tried installing the raid card driver with a vib file.

Installation was succesfull but after a reboot I still don't see the volume.

When I run the command esxcli software vib list I see the correct driver listed.

When I run the command esxcli storage nmp device list none of the disks show up.

I have tried diffrent ESXI versions vendor spcecific versions but all with the same outcome.

Is there anybody who has an idea what i might be missing here ?

Best regards,

jos

Hello.
Did you install VMware 6.7 with the custom Lenovo image?
You only have the 4 SSD in RAID 10 on the server?
You only create a single logical drive on the SSD disks?
Did you update all the firmware of the Lenovo TS150 including the Firmware of controller SAS 9340-8i?
