Creating Infiniband Virtual Network between VM's

I have look around at the various discussions about infiniband networking and the seem to all focus on physical IB networking.  What I would like to know is it possible to create a virtual IB network between VM's.  I do not want to connect to via IB to a physical network from the VM's just between them virtually.

I'm afraid there's no virtual Infiniband adapter provided for the virtual machines. So unfortunately you won't be able to do this.

If there is a virtual NIC and virtual switch available, you might try using SoftRoCE.  It has exactly the same verbs API as IB, so is functionally equivalent.
