User role setting in HTML client in ESXi 6.5u1

Hello all,

I am using ESXi6.5u1 and embedded host client (HTML client)

And i want to create a new user and assign specific role to this user.

I have successfully create new user using HTML client

But i am not able to assign specific permissions to that user.

Can any one guide me How to assign roles to a new user using HTML client (embedded host client)

Hi

I guess that you are trying to assign role for user in Security & users tab under Roles -not correct.

To do that you have to add permissions to some object: vm, storage etc

When i click on VM -> Action -> permission then  a dialogue box appearing and display title as "Add user for VM_name" . This was creating some confusing.

But i understand know.
