License edition for vSphere 6.0

Hi,

Can anyone please confirm if using vSphere Standard Edition License, enables the Customer to create virtual machines of 12 or more vCPUs as was the case in previous edition (vSphere 5.5) or still it requires vSphere Enterprise Plus edition?

Since vSphere 5.5 there is no limit on vCPU for all the edition of vSphere except Free version.
