My recommendation is instead of change the ESXi setting, make that setting in your templates, so all new virtual machines will have that setting enabled, and for your actual virtual machines you can use PowerCLI to enable that setting, see: PowerCLI: Enabling Copy & Paste through VM Console | Things Geeky MKII
