VMCI sockets can have only two endpoints.

I have read through VMCI socket documentation http://www.vmware.com/pdf/ws65_s2_vmci_sockets.pdf

and there is a mention of VMCI sockets can have only two endpoints whereas TCP sockets can have more than

two endpoints.

Can someone please explain as to how restriction impacts the application using VMCI sockets?

What functionality of TCP sockets cannot be used with VMCI sockets?

Has this restriction anything to do with VMCI sockets not working across NAT(firewall)?

Thanks
