Hello, we use vidiscovery.pl to extract the list of virtual machines for monitoring purposes.
The vidiscovery.pl fails if a vApp is defined in vCenter inventory, if we remove the vapp the script works fine, any idea?
vCenter is at version 5.1, vsphere cli is at the latest version.
Here the command line we use:
/opt/vmcli/lib/vmware-vcli/apps/general/vidiscovery.pl --url https://******/sdk/vimService --username *** --password *** --entityname host --managedentity folder
