Please, attach the vsphere_client_virgo.log log from your vSphere Web Client.
Attached. Thank you!
Please, post the services registered on SSO, see: VMware KB: Viewing the services registered with Single Sign-On
For Windows Version:
In Windows:
- Log in to the system where Single Sign On is installed.
- Open a Windows Command Prompt. For more information, see Opening a command or shell prompt (1003892).
- In vSphere 5.1, navigate to the C:\Program Files\VMware\Infrastructure\SSOServer\ssolscli directory.
In vSphere 5.5, navigate to the C:\Program Files\VMware\Infrastructure\VMware\CIS\vmware-sso directory.
Note: These are the default directory paths tossolscli.cmd
.- Run one of the commands depending on your vSphere version:
vSphere 5.1:
SET JAVA_HOME=C:\Program Files\VMware\Infrastructure\jre
Note: Verify the path first. The listed path is default, but this can be C:\Program Files\VMware\Infrastructure\jre1 after multiple installs.
vSphere 5.5:
set JAVA_HOME="C:\Program Files\Common Files\VMware\VMware vCenter Server - Java Components\bin"- To create a text file with a list of the services registered with SSO, run the command:
ssolscli.cmd listServices https://vCenter_Single_Sign-On_FQDN:7444/lookupservice/sdk > c:\sso_services.txt
Note: In vSphere 6.x, the command to list the registered services is:
"%VMWARE_PYTHON_BIN%" "%VMWARE_CIS_HOME%\VMware Identity Services\lstool\scripts\lstool.py" list --url http://localhost:7080/lookupservice/sdk- To open the text file that contains the list of registered services, run the command:
notepad c:\sso_services.txt
For Linux Version:
In Linux:
- Connect to the vCenter Server Appliance Console.
- Run this command:
/usr/lib/vmware-sso/bin/vi_regtool listServices https://vCenter_Single_Sign-On_FQDN:7444/lookupservice/sdk
Attached. I have removed some duplicate services few days ago, and I tried to repoint of web services as well. But I received this error.
Not 100% sure, but seems like you removed the wrong duplicated instance, since your logs say that vSphere Web Client is trying to connect to vCenter Server with ID: bf46e255-97a2-49f4-900f-ccf440d29661 and the vCenter server registered have the ID: b6b17046-7f00-4850-8b93-593f037bc766
Try unregister and register again your vCenter Server, or take a look at the workaround posted here: http://lab.piszki.pl/vcsa-5-5-force-vcenter-re-register-in-sso/
I was thinking this way too, but I have reinstalled all services, include vcenter server, in another machine. And get same error.
Just curious, your vCenter Server host name have a underscore ?
No, is a normal name like srv123.domian.com.br.
