Web Client plugin devleopment look and feel guidelines

I am working on a vSphere plugin client that will use the new HTML Bridge.

I will be primarily using Javascript code (in the form of GWT) in my development and am going to be bringing over a lot of code/display that we used for the C# client environment.

In some areas I will be substituting controls and mechanisms that I develop in my Javascript code in place of the controls and framework that the traditional Flex vSphere developer would use.

I am wondering if there is any kind of Look and Feel vSphere developer guideline document available?

I know there was such a document for the old C# client environment titled "vSphere Client Plug-in User Interface Guidelines".

hi Erik,

The UX design guidelines for vSphere Web Client can be found here: UX Design Standards for vSphere Web Client - vSphere UX Design - VMware Developer Center

If you can have your Javascript widgets follow those standards as much as possible your plugin will look great!
