Vsphere H5 plugin deployed successfully but unable to see it on home page

Hi, I am trying to register a vsphere H5 plugin to VCSA 6.7. In the logs, I can see that the plugin is deployed successfully and also I see that it is shown in Client Plugins under Administration but I still do not see the plugin icon on shortcuts page. Could you please check this. Attaching plugin-package.xml and UI screenshots. I see the following warning in logs :

"Detected an invalid signature for plugin: com.commvault.commandcenter:1.0.0 - com.vmware.vise.extensionfw.signing.PluginSignatureException: No META-INF/MANIFEST.MF entry found in the plugin zip file." Request you to please help me with this.

Hi Kaush,

 

Could you share the steps you executed.

Usually, when you register a plugin, you need to log out and log back in to see the plugin in the UI or you should receive a notification banner saying that you have a new plugin deployed.

Did you receive a blue notification banner that the plugin is deployed?

Does another log out/in show the plugin in the UI?

Hi,

I logged out and registered plugin using a java program.

I logged in again but did not see any notification banner. This is when I checked the logs and it says plugin is deployed. Also in Administration->Client Plugins, it started showing.

I did logout/login again and also tried in an incognito window but it does not show up in shortcuts. I tried restarting vsphere-ui service but still the same.

Just FYI, it was working earlier with vCenter Appliance 6.7 U1 (6.7.0.20000). Recently we upgraded to vCenter Appliance 6.7 U2 (6.7.0.30000) and start seeing the issue.
