Hi Raju,

Are these log messages coming from vRealize Automation (vCAC or vRA) or from somewhere else?

Do you have any firewalls setup between your vCenter, vRA, VCO and the BDE servers?

What versions of the components are you using?

Also, you may want to file a Support Request with VMware GSS to help you look into the issue deeper.

Thanks,

Faisal Akber

You're showing https://https://xx.xx.xx.xx:8443.

This should be https://<hostname/IP address>:8443/.  This should be the hostname or IP address of your BDE server.

I just edited my IP and https:// is typo I think I had given. No firewalls runninghttps://xx.xx.xx.xx:8443 it is not working in one of the BDE doc it says https://xx.xx.xx.xx:8080/serengeti I tried with both the ports not working

Raju,

Port 8080 is an older port number used from older version of BDE.

I suggest that you try using the following URL:

https://xx.xx.xx.xx:8443/serengeti

Sincerely,

Make sure that VCO is not only configured with the link to BDE but you need to have the username and password configured as well.

Make sure that the username and password is one that you can login to the vSphere web-client and has access to use BDE.

The URL is: https://xx.xx.xx.xx:8443/serengeti, where the IP is the serengeti management VM's IP.

The login and password is your vCenter's login and password.

If you use root account, it should be always fine.

thanks for the action.

Have you succeeded in using serengeti-cli to connect to serengeti VM before?

If you can get access to the serengeti mgmt VM, could you please provide me the serengeti.log under /opt/serengeti?
