vRO Update Manager - Remediation Async or not - differences

Hello in the vRO UM plugin there are two WF called:

Remediate

Remediate Asynchronously

When executing they look the same, what is the difference between them? Does one update all ESXi hosts in series while the other in parallel?

The "Remediate" workflow has you select N number of objects, then it tries to remediate all of them in one go without waiting for individual tasks for each. The "Remediate asynchronously" workflow breaks them out into tasks, ensure the tasks are created, then ends. Effectively they do the same thing, just a matter of how.
