vCenter Plugin error.

Hello,

I have recently added a new vCenter host via the vCenter plugin to my VCO environment but when I try to access the contents of said host I receive a "Error in plugin" message with various "unable to invoke" errors.

Is this happening because my new host is 5.5 while my plugin is only 5.1.2? If this is the case will an updating of the plugin provide backwards compatibility for my other hosts which are still 5.1?

Thanks,

Which vCO version do you use? 5.1.x or 5.5.x? VC plug-in 5.5.x should be able to manage both 5.1.x and 5.5.x hosts. But I'm not sure whether plug-in 5.5.x can be deployed on 5.1.x server or 5.5.x server is required.

Note that if your vCO 5.5.x server in configured with SSO authentication, when adding 5.1.x VC hosts you may need to configure them to use 'shared session', not 'session per user'. This is due to the fact that 5.5.x and 5.1.x use different SSO versions that have some incompatibilities.
