com.vmware.vcloud.api.rest.schema.SmtpServerSettingsType error

hello, I am trying to figure out why my workflow has stopped working.  I was testing adding an org to vCD and it worked fro a few days but now will not build orgs.

I have set up the vco mail plugin as well as the email setting in vCD and confirmed that the email server is working correctly, but when I run the default 'Add an Organization' workflow with no changes made to it, it always fails with the exception of 'com.vmware.vcloud.api.rest.schema.SmtpServerSettingsType'.
my connection to vCD via the vCloud Director 5.5.0 plugin works and I can browse vCD in the workflow.
  What else am I missing?

forgot to mention that the workflow fails with this error regardless of if I set the workflow to use the default vCD SMTP settings or if I manually specify SMTP settings for the org I am building.

Is there any solution for that until now?
