Weboperator Webview missing

Hi, I do not see the Weboperator webview in the vCO cient that I am running. Isn't it a default webview that appears? In the vCO configuration I see vCO Weboperator 2.2.0.504 Installed and enabled. Do I need to do anything else to make it appear in the Client so I can publish and start viewing my flows in the browser?

Thanks,

Sri

Have you tried resetting your plug-ins? Sometimes this helps fix issues like missing workflows and other stuff such as webviews that are supposed to be present:

  1. Login to vCenter Orchestrator Configuration web page
  2. Click on Troubleshooting in the left pane
  3. Click the "Reset current version" link in the right pane

After doing this, you must restart the vCenter Orchestrator Server service:

  1. Click Startup Options in the left pane
  2. Click the "Restart Service" link in the right pane

Hi Sri,

do you have deployed the Orchestrator Appliance? After deploying and configuring the appliance, navigate to http://<yourVcoServerIp> and click Web Operator.

Regards,

Chris

Yes it should be there by default.

Which version of vCO are you using?

You can try troubleshooting section in configurator, there is "Reset current version: link wich will cause all plugins to be reinstalled.

I faced the same issue too, so it's not specific to your installation.

Initially I had VCO  - 4.2.0 and everything was fine with it.

We then upgraded our infrastructure and hence deployed VCO Appliance 4.2.1. Initially I was able to see the weboperation but as i begain installing VC and vCloud plugins, it dissapeared.

In one instance I was able to see the weboperator but some of the interaction workflows started showing gibberish.

We have still not gone into production and hence not thought about it. Also did not check on VCO 5.x.
