Unregister Virtual Machine Workflow

I am building a workflow that rebuilds a vm and imports it into vRA.  If the vm already exists in vRA i want to unregister it from vRA then rebuild it with a new OS and then add it back.  I have been able to get the register into vRA workflow to work however when i try and run the unregister workflow it doesn't actually remove it.  Has anyone run into this before?  Does anyone know the proper way to remove vm's from vRA through vRO?

Thank,

to bad no one has replied to this.  I just ran into this same problem as well.  I used the plugin included workflow "unregister a VM".

It removed the VM, but didn't actually remove the Item from vCAC/vRAC (yes on 6.2, everything on the backend still says vCAC including plugin as supplied from VMware).

I'm going to submit a support ticket on the issue.

This sounds a lot like a Machine Reprovision action in vRA.  Have you considered that?

Also, what version of vRA are you working with?
