Unable to select RESTResponse as input parameter to action/workflow

Any reason why I cannot make an input parameter to an action/workflow data type RESTResponse?

While I can RESTHost & RESTOperation... all are of type Scripting Classes...

For input parameters, the actions/workflows accept not scripting classes but so called finder types. In the API Explorer they are shown with gray-ish icons, above the scripting classes with green icons.

As you can see, for the HTTP-REST plug-in the only finder types are RESTHost and RESTOperation.
