Transferring files to and from VMs

I have been playing around with the following sample workflows:

vCenter/Guest operations/Files/Copy file from guest to vCO

vCenter/Guest operations/Files/Copy file from vCO to guest

I cannot seem to get them to work and I believe it is due to the syntax in which I type in the vcoPath and guestFilePath, and/or other permissions issues.

Can someone help me with the syntax here? Is there a default "safe" place to temporarily transfer files to from guest to vco?

We use them like this:

vcoPath: C:\\abc\\def\\ghi.jkl

guestFilePath: C:\abc\def\ghi.jkl

Chris

Ohh and you need to have lokal access to your vCO server. You will find here in the community few posts about this.

Thanks Chris - This turned out to be the issue after I got past some silly mistakes of mine. If using the orchestrator appliance, be sure to change the conf file described here: http://communities.vmware.com/thread/438213?start=0&tstart=0

AS WELL AS change permissions on the folder inputted in the conf file.

cheers.
