Performance issue on vCO 5.1 with vCenter Plug-in

Hallo together,

I'm having an strange performance issue with a vCO 5.1 server connected to several vCenter 5.0 Servers. The vCO 5.1 is newly installed. I'm also having the same issues using the appliance.

If I browse to the vCenter Inventory I need about 40 seconds for each inventory level. I'm having the same servers in a 4.2.0 Orchestrator. Browsing there takes about 1 or 2 seconds per level.

The Orchestrator is freezing while loading but there is no high CPU load visible and there are also no entries in the server log visible. Has anyone a goot idea for where to start investigating this issue ?

What is the version of the plug-in you are using ?

An updated version of the plug-in was posted in the document tab to address performance issues.

vCenter Plug-in Version is 5.1.0

Isn't this update in the documents for 5.0.1 ?? Or do I have to downgrade the version  ?

It seems that the update in the document is for vCO 4.2. Sorry about this.

If there is a similar problem with the 5.1 plug-in it will be addressed in an update.

The best thing to know about this is to open a call to VMware Global Support Services.
