Orchestrator - Send Email from Output

Jump to solution

I'm new to Orchestrator and I'm just trying to set up a few basic workflows.

I'd like to use the getAllWindowsVMs workflow to send an email to me with the results. I set this up, but got an empty email. I guess I'm not sure exactly what getAllWindowsVMs produces and how you get that content to be sent in an email. Can anyone help me with this?

Thanks,

Scott

I suggest looking over the workflow attached to the end of this thread: Orchestrator 5.1 REPORT-All VMs in Datacentre and create a CSV

Thanks for the reply.

Am I crazy or does that seem overly compex to collect information into a csv and email it?

It all depends on how reliable you want the information gathering process to be and how detailed you want the information, as well as how much control you want over the formatting...

Can you do something similar with another tool? of course.
