No vCenter Orchestrator Connection to vCenter 5.1

I've configured all required settings in VMware vCenter Orchestrator Configuration via https://localhost:8283 including a seperate SQL DB. When I log into the Web Client (5.1)  Select vCenter Orchestrator from inventories I'm not able to specify a vCenter Orchestrator by selecting edit configuration, and obviously there are no workflows available, have I missed a step?  Im not seeing the plugin in the vsphere Client GUI either

Yes, SSO is required regardless of whether you are using the appliance or a Windows based install. When you configure the SSO in vCO, it registers itself in the SSO Server (vCenter) so that the integration can take place...

In order to do what you are talking about, vCO must be configured to use the vCenter SSO service.. please reference this document by Christophe that walks through a lot of the information and some extra details about getting this all to work:

thanks I've seen that but I'm not using appliances but the buildin integrated configuration with vCenter, is SSO authentication required before you can start using vCO within the Web client?

I now have SSO configured, the VCO Server Service seems a bit flakey but it appears to be working
