I keep getting java errors when I attempt to install the VCO client even if I install the VCO client on the windows 2008 IAAS box

Sorry, just noticed in the screenshot that you already have the permissions tag.

Check this KB article for possible workaround  -  VMware KB: Java 7 Update 51 blocks vCloud Director and vCenter Orchestrator features

This is a known issue with the recent Java versions and older vCO builds.

Either downgrade your Java, or pick up a newer vCO build.

Another option would be to manually edit the .jnlp file XML and add the missing permissions by hand.

YES !!!!

goto the control panel.....java .......security and edit stile list and put the IP of your VCAC CORE  with the port number as well JAVA settings Capture.PNG
