How to Configure Basic Workflow to Start & Stop VMs

I have Orchestrator configured and it wasn't hard to do. Is there a way to create a workflow from templates or out of the box to Reboot & Restart VMs?

It shouldn't be hard but I am not a developer. Help is appreciated and appropriate points awarded.

Thanks In AdvanceSmiley Happy

There are already such workflows that can do this:

Reset virtual machine and wait

Reboot guest OS

They are located under: Library->vCenter->Virtual machine management->Power management

Have a look and see if thay will do what you want to accomplish.

You can create workflow by two ways:

1. Duplicate an existing one and then modifying it to suite your needs

2. Create it from scratch

Please, refer to documentation for thoso two approaches:

http://pubs.vmware.com/vsphere-50/index.jsp?topic=/com.vmware.vsphere.vco_dev.doc_42/GUID-B5C0EE02-0...

The vCO documentation is available here:

I hope this will help
