Generate an Action for a PowerShell Cmdlet

Hello,

I am experimenting at the moment with vRO and the PowerShell Plugin. Especial with the “Generate an Action for a PowerShell Cmdlet“ Workflow.

At the moment for me it looks like that only Cmdlet from SnapIns are available for the workflow. Is that true?

What about Modules? Is working with “generate action from a PowerShell Script” maybe the only workaround?

Any recommended Reads about this topic? Documentation is net very useful at this point…

No. no plans to be bale to add modules as managed objects in the inventory. This doesn't stop you though to import modules in your script and still use all cmdlets that come with these.

Is there maybe something planned? Modules are teh future, even PowerCLI has no more SnapIns...
