Has anyone experimented with windows and/or linux filesystems from vCO?
Especially under Linux this can be quite a tedious task of rescan, identifying the raw device, growing or creating the filesystem, and adding it to fstab.
So I'm thinking this is a classic case of a mindless, repetitive task where manual labour can, AT BEST, manage to do it correctly - most of the time.
But this is also a scenario where it is a bit harder to bridge the bubble between VM and physical (well, -er) resources - unlike a NIC, there is no unique disk identifier in a VMware VM. At best there's the SCSI address, and I'm hoping this can be enough.
Any fellow orchestrators who've worked this out?
