Create a User Defined Storage capability - Apply to Datastores / Profile

Good day,

Im hoping that I dont need to re-invent the wheel here.

Has anybody already written a script or scripts that do the following

1) Create a user defined Storage capability

2) Create a storage Profile with the newly created Capability

3) assign this newly created capability to a datastore.

If nobody has created a script to do this, Would anybody happen to know what API objects would be involved, I am having trouble finding them in the API browser.

Besides this, unfortunately the other necessary methods and objects to work with StorageProfiles are not available in the public API of vCenter, and so there is also no appearence of them in vCO 😞

You can check with Onyx....

I recommend to file a feature request for that. (You are not the first one :smileylaugh:)...
