Check if vCloud VM Tools running in vCD 5.1 API?

Hi!

Someone an idea how we can check if VM Tools running on a vCloud VM in vCD 5.1 Connector (5.1 API)? There are methods for Vcenter API, but i could not find anything in vCD API.

We like to develope an workflow which is waiting for a successfully (and completed) start of a vCloud VM

Hi,

Unfortunately there are no method in the vCloud API allowing to know if the VM guest OS is fully operational.

If you are in a private cloud you can use the vCenter API as a work around. There may be other tricks but nothing that I am aware of.
