Here is an alternative method to using the vCenter query service to get a vCenter virtualMachine object from a vCloud:VM one.
Requires a vCloud.VM and VC:SdkConnection as input (the second one could eventually pre determined by the first one but for simplicity sake / avoiding different hostname errors I did not implement this in this action.
