vcops: vcenter health = 0

Hi All,

looking for a hint - on where the problem might be.

VCOPS shows vcenter health at zero. Please see screenshot attached.

Looks like vcenter stopped providing info about own health on some stage.

Please share your thouths - where should I start checking for problems.

Thanks !

looks like physical network io dropped - is causing the "health" badge going to "zero".

You seem to have a bigger problem - the fact that all other objects are "grey" most likely means that vcops has stopped collecting data for this environment.

Judging by the Anomalies badge, something happens ~3 hours before you did that snapshot.

Please look at

1) Faults badge for any problems indication

2) Alerts page for the World or vCenter objects. You will most likely have some administrative (or fault) alert there. Admin* alerts have the blue icon

Hi ,

the situation improved a bit - can see some stats now.

It still looks the problem is network related - I am going to check this with os and network guys.

Thanks for your input !
