vSAN Slack Space in vROPS

Hi,

Anyone able to help clear up if/how vROPS handles slack space for vSAN.

We are currently running 8.3 version of vROPS and 6.6.1 of vSAN.

Is this a manual policy change for the datastores and assigning it to any cluster built on vSAN or how does it work?

Many Thanks.

You can see slack space for the vSAN datastore on the capacity tab of the datastore itself.

vSAN slack space is hardcoded in vROps

Correction:

vROps gets slack space from vSAN for 7.0U1 or newer. For older vSAN version vRops has 25% hard coded slack space.
