vRops Critical Alert Definition -Error synchronizing user privilege information with VMware Virtual Center

Good morning all,

I keep getting alerts from vRops that state the following:

"Error synchronizing user privilege information with VMware Virtual Center

Error synchronizing user privilege information for a VMware vRealize Authentication Source that corresponds to a VMware Virtual Center instance."
It appears that this alert is generated when a user has a failed attempt to log in. I checked with the users but they are able to log in successfully. Does anyone know what other possible causes are for this type of alert and how I can get rid of it or fix the issue?
Thanks,
Tim

Hi Tim,

Thank you for your post on the Communities site.

After investigating, the alert is triggered from the symptom "vCenter Users refresh failed".

It's likely from a failed login for a vCenter user. That login could be ultimately successful, but failed in 1 or more VC if for example they logging in under "All vCenter servers"

The alert is not getting cleared it is still showing active.

i could see two AD user accounts which is showing as vcenter user refresh failed.

followed all the recommendation steps nothing found as such

what next we could do fix the same, my intension is alert should get inactive.
