vROps View Time setting for Last Month

Hi There,

How can I create a List/Summary view with Time setting configured to "The First Day of LAST Month" and "The Last Day of LAST Month".

The current Time setting of Views does not support the above requirement. I need to set the absolute date each time before I run the report. Or I need to schedule the report at the last 15 min. of the last day of a month.

Thanks

Here is a better solution,

  1. Create a new Dashboard with a view widget
  2. Configure the view widget to self provider and point it to vSphere world.  Look for the preconfigured view named VMs list with Creation Date
  3. Save the Dashboard
  4. You should see all your VMs displayed with creation date.
  5. Click on the eyeball icon and it should open up a menu.  Click on Export to CSV
  6. Open that file in Excel and Format as table.  Now you can select any month you like.
