vROps Powered Off VMs Report

vRealize Operations Manager has a built in view/report to show powered off VMs.

I pulled it up and it does not show two of the VM's that we powered down the night before.  Do I need to adjust something?

Had you run the report manually, or was it run on a schedule, and perhaps before your VMs were powered off.  Another possibility would be that the two VM's are only partially powered off, and not powered off completely.

I did check to make sure that the VM's are powered down completely.  I also powered several off and on throughout the day to test this.

I ran the report on a schedule this morning every hour and I also ran it manually many times.   These machines never appeared in the list.

Hi HealthsWhy,

Could you please check what is the Summary|Powered Off metric value of that two powered off VMs (that are not appeared in the list).

Thanks,

Artur.

Sorry to have to ask, but how would I look at that information for one of them?

Open details page of powered off VM, go to Troubleshooting tab -> All Metrics, the value of Summary|Powered Off metric should be 1. See attached screenshot.

It shows "No Data" for these VM's:

Thanks for helping with this, by the way.  I really appreciate it.

Is there anyway to add a date to any of these reports?
